Frequently asked questions
The daily Çeşme boat tour starts at 10:00 and ends at 18:00 — about 8 hours on the water. During that time the boat visits four coves — Çelebi Island, Köse Island, İngiliz (English) Island and Saranç Bay — with a swim stop at each. There is no rush; guests can swim at length, sunbathe on the two-deck boat and relax between stops. The tour departs from Ildır in Çeşme.
Our Meal Tour package includes a hot lunch prepared on board: choose between meatballs (köfte), fish or chicken, served with pasta in sauce, a fresh salad and a soft drink. On the Standard Tour you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks — the crew cooks and serves everything using the boat's kitchen and BBQ grill.
The tour departs from Ildır in Çeşme. Ildır (ancient Erythrai) is a small village on the Çeşme peninsula, about 35 km west of İzmir. You can see the exact location of the SAMANYOLU 2 on the map below.
Our boat's locationYes, the tour is designed for families. Children of all ages are welcome; the crew provides correctly sized life vests for every guest and the boat has a toilet. The calm, sheltered coves we visit are safe for swimming with children. With a maximum of 12 guests, the group is always small and well looked after.
